Many career counseling professionals in private practice, colleges and corporate settings are increasingly utilizing distance career counseling as an effective intervention in today's turbulent career planning environment. Randy Miller, Founder and CEO of ReadyMinds. Randy graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a B.S. in Marketing & Management and a minor in Psychology. He has successfully managed several business enterprises. His vision of and commitment to distance career counseling has become widely recognized within the career counseling community. Dr. Jim Malone is a National Certified Counselor and is currently the Director of Career Counseling and Training for ReadyMinds. Over the last 30 years Jim has worked as a counselor, educational placement specialist and consultant. As a Counselor Educator he has trained thousands of graduate students at the C.W. Post campus of Long Island University, Bank Street College and The United States Military Academy at West Point. Dr. Karen Miller is the Assistant Director of Career Counseling and Training for ReadyMinds. She is a New York State Licensed Psychologist and a National Certified Counselor. An Adjunct Assistant Professor at Fordham University, she teaches courses in counseling theory, career development and group dynamics. Dr. Miller has spent the last 10 years in the field of counseling psychology. Heidi Ravis has a Masters of Education in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University Teachers College, and is a National Certified Counselor. With over 17 years of experience, Heidi specializes in Clinical Career Counseling. At present, she holds positions with Career Transition Resources and ReadyMinds. Heidi has extensive experience with special populations, including adults with psychiatric disabilities and crime victims. Previous employers include Postgraduate Center for Mental Health and the Bronx District Attorney's Office.
