Press Release - ReadyMinds Receives Extension to the Consortium for Worker Education
Contract.
New York, NY., May 15th, 2003 - ReadyMinds announced today that an agreement has been
reached with the Consortium for Worker Education (CWE) to continue to service
additional displaced workers resulting from 9/11.
The original agreement, which had concluded in March, was viewed by both CWE
and ReadyMinds as an extremely successful undertaking. Ed Schwartz, Director
of Operations for ReadyMinds, indicated that he was, "pleased to see how smoothly
the execution of services occurred." After evaluating feedback from many of those
who benefited from the ReadyMinds services, Schwartz felt that "it was a logical and
worthwhile progression to be able to continue to assist others from this population."
The extension of the agreement will go into effect immediately. Individuals who
were unable to participate under the last contract because of time/funding
restrictions will now be offered the opportunity, as well as those presently making
initial contact with CWE.
