Press Release- ReadyMinds Featured In Newly Released Book “Cybercounseling & Cyberlearning An Encore”

New York, November 30, 2003: The newly released book, “Cybercounseling & Cyberlearning An Encore", by John W. Bloom and Garry R. Walz features Chapter 8 written by Dr. James F. Malone, ReadyMinds Director of Counseling, Dr Karen S Miller, ReadyMinds Assistant Director of Counseling and Randy M. Miller, ReadyMinds Founder and CEO.

The editors of the book, John Bloom and Garry Walz cite as the goal of this volume the intention to provide an update on the topics covered in the first volume of their book, as well as an expansion of the coverage to new areas and topics wherever they were relevant and available. The first volume, Cybercounseling & Cyberlearning is considered by many to be a leading source of information for those involved in the distance counseling/learning field.

The chapter in volume two authored by ReadyMinds titled “The Evolution of a Distance Career Counseling Model: Implications for Training, Practice and Supervision of Cybercounselors" describes the services and methodologies developed by ReadyMinds, serving as an example of a recommend approach to distance counseling. The history of ReadyMinds, various stages of development and growth within the company and ReadyMinds milestones, along with client testimonials are included in the chapter.

Together with John Bloom, Garry Walz is the primary individual responsible for the creation of this valuable book. Dr Walz was recently honored by the ACTE as career guidance professional of the year. In addition to his other roles within the industry, Dr Walz currently serves as the Director of Research and Development for ReadyMinds.
