November 29, 2005 Press Release-Lyndhurst, NJ, November 29, 2005 - University of Richmond and ReadyMinds Extend Agreement to Provide Distance Career Counseling Services to Continuing Education Population ReadyMinds and the University of Richmond announced today that the agreement to provide ReadyMinds distance career counseling services to the University of Richmond continuing education population has been extended for an additional year. The program commenced in the Fall of 2004 and will now continue through 2006. The ReadyMinds Program is available to University of Richmond students who have been accepted by the University as degree-seeking students and have successfully completed at least 12 semester credit hours at the University. Eligible students receive the ReadyGold level of service from professionally trained, National Certified ReadyMinds Counselors. Sandra Kirkland, University of Richmond, Director of Student Services, indicated that, "We are glad to continue our relationship with ReadyMinds. Being able to provide professional distance career counseling assistance to our continuing education population has been a positive and well received addition to the University's career counseling services." A University of Richmond participant in the program commented, " I appreciated the prompt response and evaluation of my situation and concerns. My counselor was an obvious professional and highly skilled in her role. If all counselors involved are as pleasant to work with as mine was, everyone that uses this service will most likely end up with higher quality resumes and better job opportunities."
