Distance Career Counseling continues to be offered to UCLA Alumni Population ReadyMinds announced today that an extension to the formal agreement between ReadyMinds and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)has been reached that will allow for the continuation of distance career counseling services to be offered. The service, known as Bruin AlumLink™, is available to the entire UCLA alumni population exclusively through the UCLA Career Center. It enables any graduate of the institution to subscribe to the nationally recognized ReadyMinds Program. It is of particular value to the alumni who cannot easily visit the UCLA campus for career counseling yet still maintains ties with the University and values receiving UCLA related services. ReadyMinds Counselors, in partnership with the UCLA Career Center, serve as the private label distance career counselors for this population to deliver the service at the convenience of the individual alumnus via telecounseling (telephone) with Internet based support. Randy M.Miller, President and CEO for ReadyMinds indicated, "We are very pleased that UCLA students to date have benefited from ReadyMinds services and now anticipate similar benefits will be obtained during our new extension period. We appreciate the growth of this partnership over the years and the opportunity to provide distance counseling services to this well recognized institution." The initial contract for services was initiated in December, 2002.
