Press Release - ReadyMinds Delivers Distance Credentialed Counselor Training (DCC™) Workshop to the New York State Department of Labor
On October 11th and 12th 2006, ReadyMinds conducted a two day training for the New York State Dept. of Labor (DCC Training) at the Albany, NY State Headquarters. The training addressed the best practices, ethics and delivery of distance counseling.
The NYS Dept. of Labor selected 12 counselors to attend this training. Based upon the successful results of this particular training, follow-up DCC trainings are being discussed that will allow a wider level of participation among NYS Dept. of Labor Counselors.
Ed Schwartz, ReadyMinds Vice President of Operations, who attended the training said, “It seems apparent that the beneficial services that the Dept. of Labor provides, can be accessible to more New York residents by utilizing professional distance counseling methodologies in addition to current face to face counseling. ReadyMinds was very pleased to be able to assist with this effort and welcomes all future options of working together.”
ReadyMinds, the global leader in distance counseling and training, conducts DCC Trainings throughout the country, both for individual participation as well as for groups, schools, organizations and government related departments.
