Press Release - Union Institute & University and ReadyMinds Partner to Provide Distance Career Counseling Services
Cincinnati, OH, November 10, 2006 – Union Institute & University announced today that an extension to the formal agreement between ReadyMinds and Union Institute & University has been reached that will allow for distance career counseling services to be offered to all Union Institute & University alumnae/i. The program will begin in January 2007 and will be in addition to the services already being provided to current doctoral learners at the university.
Ed Schwartz, vice president of Operations for ReadyMinds indicated, "We are very pleased that Union learners have benefited from ReadyMinds’ services and now anticipate similar benefits will be obtained by the university’s alumnae and alumni. We are excited about the growth of this partnership and the continued opportunity to provide distance counseling services to multiple populations."
Dr. Michael McKinley, associate vice president for Alumni Relations and Advancement at Union Institute & University added, "Our doctoral learners tell us that they are pleased with their interactions with ReadyMinds and that the service has been a benefit to them as they pursue career opportunities.
