Testimonials
Sofia
Graduate Student, Columbia University
"An A+ with eyes closed. My career counselor was a great listener. I could talk to her about all of my interests and she made insightful comments as to how I could present myself to employers in different fields. I also loved the "Insight Into U" Report that she wrote, where she made invaluable assessments about my strengths and offered advice on how to work on my weaknesses. Overall, I feel extremely lucky to have had this experience as I now feel much more confident about my future."

“My counselor seemed genuinely concerned in helping me with my career path. She was knowledgeable about my career field, was easy to talk to, and a good listener.”

Alumnus , UCLA
“The systematic approach to career counseling. The clarity provided by the counselor and her communication skills in leading me through the process along with the follow-up process was great. I really think the SDS report and the Insight Into U report was very helpful.”

Continuing Ed Student, University of Richmond
“Everything was effective. After working with my counselor, I am more excited than ever to work towards my career goals. And at 52, that says a lot. I felt the list of books was very helpful. As a paralegal candidate, books are very important to me. Research is an important part of the paralegal profession and books are a natural resource to me. Websites are also a good source.”

"The ReadyMinds Program helped me gain a sense of FOCUS. For
the first time, I did an exhaustive inventory of my interests, skills,
and marketability and came up with a game plan for the future. The Quality
is GREAT!!! I think you should expand your programs to others coming to
America from countries where there is no structure for career planning
and/or counseling. Many of them feel lost and could also benefit from
your services...Thank you again."

Career Changer / Alumnus, Pace University
"Having personal contact with one particular counselor for a relatively
long period of time forced me to do the work that I wasn't motivated to
do while working by myself. Learning to communicate the things I wanted
to do, as opposed to merely thinking about them, helped me break through
to new insights. We used the internet in a more structured way than I
ever had before. I am 33. I can only imagine how this would have revolutionized
my life when I was 18, or 21, etc. This program could really change the
life of a young man or woman! I have just been offered a position to teach,
and now I feel confident enough about what I want to go ahead and throw
myself into this fully. Thanks for all your help! "

"I must start by saying that the entire ReadyMinds process is extremely
efficient and productive. The General Survey and SDS® were very useful
in jumpstarting and personalizing the program. As a result my counselor
was well prepared for our first session and understood the dilemmas faced
by a career changer. I found her suggestions to be very "real world"
and useful for keeping me abreast of my industry of interest. As a person
who has been knee deep in the job search process for a while, I was impressed
by the additional ideas my counselor suggested. My counselor was able
to both suggest relevant reference materials as well as attainable ways
for me to enter into a different field. I have shown my resume to other
professionals; however, my ReadyMinds Counselor offered the most detailed
critique by far (and to top it off, it was a written critique). I feel
that this feedback was not only practical and helpful, but will provide
me with immediate benefits as I continue to search for a career.
I give "Insight into U" four stars. I was very grateful
that I was able to walk away with a written summary of our sessions and
a focused "to do" list that truly reflected my goals. This by
far sets ReadyMinds apart from any other services I've explored in the
market."

"The most effective and helpful counseling I received from my sessions
were the Personal Career Development Process, Self-Assessment, goal setting,
and timelines which will assist me with the achievement of my future career
and educational objectives."

Career Changer / Graduate Student, UNC - Chapel Hill
My counselor helped me think about how to pursue alternatives in a career
in education. She summarized my skills, interests, and values clearly
and gave me some resources - book references, ideas on networking and
consulting."
