ReadyGold Program

One hour career planning/guidance session conducted via telephone. Addresses the following areas (based on client need): self-assessment, exploration of resources/information, approaches to career decision-making and assistance in self-marketing strategies for employment.

Counselor-assisted interpretation of your career assessment survey.   Understanding how your assessments (skills, interests and values) may relate to your educational or career plans.   Ability to link your assessment results to career fields, educational majors, and/or job titles.   Targeted career exploration resources and strategies.   Developing concrete approaches to career decision-making.   Resume and interview skills assistance from an experienced career counselor.   A minimum of 2 focused hours of counselor time (including 1 hour of telecounseling).   Personalized summary report of the career planning/guidance interaction accompanied by resources and references that will help with your career planning.   Brief e-mail exchange with your counselor for a 6-month period.
