Catherine Tenney works for The Boston Consulting Group(BCG) where she manages Career Services, BCG's internal career counseling and outplacement resource. In this capacity, she provides global career counseling and outplacement support to BCG employees and alumni worldwide, as well as oversees the global transition process.

Catherine thoroughly enjoys career counseling and has worked in the field for almost 30 years. Prior to joining BCG eight years ago, she worked as an outplacement consultant with Drake, Beam Morin, as Assistant Director of Career Services at Wellesley College, and as Assistant Director of Career Services at Montclair State College. Her first job out of graduate school was as Director of the Richmond Youth Club in Richmond, England.

In addition to career counseling, Catherine has a strong interest & background in cross-cultural counseling issues, having lived and worked in Switzerland and England for six years.

Catherine's educational background includes a BA in French and a MA in Counseling from Washington University in St. Louis.
