We're Changing

ReadyMinds, the nation's premier one-on-one distance career counseling
program, is looking for dedicated counseling professionals to join our
team. Our mission is to offer the highest quality of distance career counseling
to high school, undergraduate/graduate students, career changers, job
seekers, distance learners, continuing education population, and government
related areas. Based on the rapid growth of our business and the number
of partnering institutions and associations in our network, we are
seeking experienced counselors with expertise in all phases of career
development to work via distance career counseling models with our growing
client base.
If you're a counselor who:
- is certified by
the NBCC (or is willing
and eligible to become certified), has a master's degree in counseling,
and a minimum of three years of career planning experience with appropriate
populations.
- has demonstrated
knowledge of the four phases of the career counseling process: self-assessment,
exploration, decision, and self-marketing.
- has exceptional
interpersonal, writing, and verbal skills, and the ability to use them
via a technology based delivery system including telecounseling and
cybercounseling.
- is enthusiastic
and has a desire to go beyond the typical career counseling model
- would like to be
a part of an unprecedented distance career counseling organization.
Due to our expansion and rapid growth, ReadyMinds is looking for Counselors with specific areas of expertise in one or more of the following fields:
- Business
- Finance
- Information Technology
- Engineering
- Computer Science/Technology
- Human Resources
- Marketing and Advertising
We are also actively seeking qualified Counselors who have experience working with with:
- Government-related populations
- Fluent in more than one language given our increasing numbers of bilingual clients.
- Spanish-speaking a priority.

Train Through our
Proprietary ReadyMinds® Program
All ReadyMinds Counselors receive 15 hours of specialized training (approved
for NBCC continuing education units) in our unique, state-of-the-art counseling
program, which was developed by industry experts over a three-year period.
Work Part-time
as an Independent Contractor From Your Own Home or Office
We're looking for career counselors to enlist in our ReadyMinds Counselor
Training Program. You can counsel clients by phone and communicate via
online interaction - it's up to you and your client to decide when to
work together. Most of our counselors work virtually (and happily) right
from their homes or offices.
